Ear Force X-52

The Turtle Bear Ear Force X-52 is a low priced, high quality headset that’s packed with extra features. Featuring true 5.1 surround sound, the Ear Force X-52 has a total of 8 speakers, with larger front and surround drivers for extra punch and even sounds. The 8 drivers deliver a high quality sound with very nice, yet not overpowering bass.

The remote features full volume controls for individual speakers, allowing you to adjust volume settings on the fly, and is integrated into the (relatively short) 1.5m (4.9 ft) cable. Though this cable is shorter than most other gaming headsets, it should be satisfactory for most setups and if you do require more length an extension cable shouldn’t be too costly.

The Ear Force X-52 features an adjustable noise-cancelling microphone, which can be removed for ease of storage and travel. On that topic, one of the neat things about the Ear Force X-52 is that it not only folds to save space, but folds in such a way that the headband helps protect the earcups.

The earcups themselves aren’t quite ear enclosing, which is somewhat of a shame, however they are still comfortable even after a long gaming session.
Along with the headphones themselves, you get a carrybag and a bunch of adaptors and jacks to make sure you’ll be able to use your headphones no matter what hardware you’re presented with.

All in all, the Turtle Beach Ear Force X-52 is a comfortable, versatile headset which sounds great and is ideal for gamers of any variety.
